1. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith
Considering this is in my top 5 favorite books ever, ummm yeah. I need this to happen, like, yesterday. There was movie news last year, but nothing has come of it. Fingers are crossed!
2. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
Everyone who has read this will understand why I want this so badly. COME ON! It would be so badass and omg so romannnntic! Plus, if casted right, some Chaol screen-time would make my life complete forever and ever.
3. The Face of A Stranger by Anne Perry
This is the first of the William Monk series, of about 20 books, so I would expect it'd be only 1 or 2 movies...but OMG if just the first book was made into a movie I would cry happy tears. It's the most perfect mystery. Like. Wow.
4. Article 5 by Kristen Simmons
OMG. Can't you just see this happening? It'd be the most intense and insane movie. I'd probably be hugging myself in fear the whole time. But seriously. This is one that I could see being a FLIPPING AWESOME TV show. They could set it up just right to follow the story, too. Hmmm...
5. Incarceron & Sapphique by Catherine Fisher
BOTH of these books should be made into movies. Like, now. And Luke Evans better be JARED or else.
6. Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein
So. There would be gross sobbing and ridiculous sniffling and loud bawling and rough hair pulling.
It would be hard to do, but it is possible.
7. Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
8. Nevermore by Kelly Creagh
I feel like this could be a movie or TV show, depending on what the creators are going for. Either would be good. All would be good. Just, give me something. I neeeeeed it.
9. 100 Cupboards by N. D. Wilson
*cries* It would be so amazing and hilarious and full of adventure. This whole series, please? Kaythxbai.
10. The Dragon's Tooth by N. D. Wilson
I would LOVE TO SEE THIS ON THE BIG SCREEN.
Secret societies and magic and ancient relics and incredible creatures and the undead and heroes worth rooting for? Everything about this book would be crazy and fabulous for the big screen. I just don't want to see Nolan peeling his skin off. Please, let's keep that out. It grosses me out enough in the books. *blech*
Runner Up -
The Brides of Rollrock Island by Margo Lanagan
This book is written in a very unusual way...but in such a way that I could see them making a TV show out of it. Depending on how they make it, it might have to be changed some, fleshed out more; but if they focused on some of the individual men/families who were affected by the Seal Women, it might work more like the book. But omg I would love to see something like this on my TV. It would be so chilling...
Anyway...there's my list! Link me up! :D
