HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Ahhhh my lovely friends, I hope your New Years Eve was wonderful.  Mine consisted of reading and reading and MORE reading, which was EXACTLY how I wanted to spend my evening!  What were you all up to?

I don't have much to say.  This upcoming year is going to be crazy for me...I'm enrolled in 3 spring classes, and will most likely be taking 2 summer school classes, and I might possibly be traveling in the fall.  So, all GREAT things, but OMG my reading time is going to be lacking.

In 2012, I finished 112 books and was working on 3 more when the year turned.
In 2013, I'm only aiming for 60 books.  I could be aiming for more, but honestly, I don't want to push myself to far.  I want to enjoy what I read and not try to force things.  I'll most likely bump it up to 75 eventually, but for now, I'm good at 60.

In 2012, I wrote 53 reviews, and started writing Pint-Size Reviews, where I shorten my reviews and add a section called "This book reminds me of..."  It's been so much fun!
In 2013, because of a lack of blogging time (I assume), I'm not aiming high in this area as well.  I want to write 1 review a week, which will equal 52 reviews, which is just as awesome as this year.  I will also continue my VS, Friday Buys, Quotes, Top Ten Tuesdays, and The Bookshelf Dilemma posts.  I'm very excited about the things I have in store to show you this upcoming year!

That's kind of it.  Like I said, not much to say.  This year is going to be up in the air, and whatever God has for me - and I'm so excited!!

What about you all?  Any New Years' Resolutions you wanna share?  Link me up to your posts or comment! :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

  1. I've resolved to Tweet something at least once a day — and in general just try to be more Online Present, but I'll start small with One Tweet A Day. It's way too easy for me to get distracted by something and then look up to find a month is gone and I've dropped of the face of the Internet.

  2. Yay! :) I love starting small - it always leads to something big! :)
